"Juliette is very versatile in defence and can be deployed both centrally and on the flanks. Her build-up play with her left foot is particularly impressive and fits perfectly into our requirements profile," said Achim Feifel, Bayer 04 Women sporting director: "She has a lot of experience and was outstanding in Anderlecht's championship-winning season."
The left-footed player made 16 regular league appearances for Anderlecht last season and ten in the championship round. In the 2022/23 season, Vidal scored two goals in 14 league appearances for Basel in Switzerland, and the year before she made eight appearances (one goal) for Saint-Étienne in her home country of France.
"I'm really looking forward to the sporting challenge here in Germany. The decision to make the move was very easy for me because Bayer 04 offer an ideal framework and conditions," says Vidal: "I can help the team with my strength in tackling and my technical skills."
