The Bayer 04 Women have secured three points on the road after four games without a win. Long-term partnership under the cross: New Balance becomes Bayer 04 Leverkusen's new kit supplier
Bayer 04 Leverkusen will feature a new kit partner for the 2025/26 season: The German soccer champions and DFB Cup winners have agreed to a multi-year cooperation with US sporting goods manufacturer New Balance starting this summer. New Balance will equip all of the Werksklub's teams, from the junior boys' and girls' teams to the women's Bundesliga team and the men's professional team, with high-quality sports equipment and smart lifestyle apparel. The track and field department of TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen will also be equipped by New Balance with immediate effect. At the upcoming German Indoor Championships on February 21 and 22 in Dortmund, the athletes with the cross on their chest will be competing in outfits from the American sportswear giant.

'Democracy and DFL' workshop at the BayArena
Two days before the Bundestag elections, a democracy workshop initiated by Bayer 04 and organised in cooperation with the German Football League (DFL) took place on Friday 21 February at the BayArena for a class from the Leverkusen Realschule am Stadtpark. During the workshop, the young people learnt about participation in political processes and how important it is to vote when they reach the legal age.

Carro presents 2025 Sports Youth Volunteer award at Schloss Morsbroich
For the first time this year, the city of Leverkusen has awarded the Sports Youth Volunteer prize, which is aimed at particularly committed young volunteers in sport. The award ceremony took place on Tuesday evening as part of the city’s sports awards ceremony at Schloss Morsbroich. Bayer 04 donated the prize money of €500, with CEO Fernando Carro presenting the symbolic cheque to this year's winner Gianna Ingber and also inviting her to a Werkself home game at the BayArena.

For the third time: Bayer 04 visit German School Madrid
In the run-up to the Champions League match at Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, 21 January (kick-off: 21:00 CET at Estadio Metropolitano/live in Germany on DAZN), Bayer 04 used the time on the morning of the match to pay another visit to the German School Madrid. More than 30 schoolchildren joined the delegation led by Matthias Adler (Head of fans and sustainability), Thorsten Judt (Football school) and Benjamin Seifert (Social affairs) for a short training session at the school's state-of-the-art facility, which was opened in 2018.

The official launch of the 700 square metre plus state-of-the-art interactive shopping and world of experience on Wednesday afternoon followed an exclusive event the night before. Werkself players Nordi Mukiele and Niklas Lomb attended the Bayer 04 Football School on Tuesday afternoon. In the first week of the autumn half-term, the new signing and the long-serving goalkeeper answered numerous questions from over 100 young footballers at the kids press conference. After the round of questions, there was of course a group photo as well as an autograph session, where the duo didn't leave a single kit or boot unsigned.
