Vote for Mukiele as March Player of the Month
The video games manufacturer Electronic Arts (EA) has announced, in association with the German Football League (DFL), the six nominations for the vote of Bundesliga Player of the Month for March 2025. Bayer 04 defender Nordi Mukiele is in the list of nominees for the award first presented in the 2017/18 season. Black and Red fans can vote for the French defender now.

Long-term partnership under the cross: New Balance becomes Bayer 04 Leverkusen's new kit supplier
Bayer 04 Leverkusen will feature a new kit partner for the 2025/26 season: The German soccer champions and DFB Cup winners have agreed to a multi-year cooperation with US sporting goods manufacturer New Balance starting this summer. New Balance will equip all of the Werksklub's teams, from the junior boys' and girls' teams to the women's Bundesliga team and the men's professional team, with high-quality sports equipment and smart lifestyle apparel. The track and field department of TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen will also be equipped by New Balance with immediate effect. At the upcoming German Indoor Championships on February 21 and 22 in Dortmund, the athletes with the cross on their chest will be competing in outfits from the American sportswear giant.

Special sports class for enthusiastic primary school children: as part of the first action day of the Bayer 04 campaign ‘District Matchdays’ in the 2024/25 season, Werkself players Vanessa Haim and Estrella Merino Gonzalez visited the KGS Thomas-Morus-Schule in Schlebusch on Wednesday afternoon and led a lesson in the gym. #B04eSports: Unbeaten Leverkusen bow out to RBL in final
A brilliant weekend for the Leverkusen eSports players at the VBL CC finals in Cologne ended without the deserved reward. After the first day of the tournament with only victories in the group phase, Marc and Sean Landwehr overcame last year's champions SC Paderborn 07 at the semi-final stage on Sunday – but then lost in the final to the now sole VBL CC record champions RB Leipzig. After a four-week winter break, the #B04eSports team kick off the Rückrunde in the VBL Club Championship against Hamburg SV. Despite the disappointing Hinrunde, the Black and Reds are targeting seventh place and associated qualification for the play-offs. Ahead of the forthcoming offline matchday, the aim is to pick up three important points. Markus Hüttemann, who joins Justin Schwier in the VBL squad as the second e-talent from the the B04eAcademy, could help out for the first time and he will be available for the rest of the VBL season 2024/25.

'Democracy and DFL' workshop at the BayArena
Two days before the Bundestag elections, a democracy workshop initiated by Bayer 04 and organised in cooperation with the German Football League (DFL) took place on Friday 21 February at the BayArena for a class from the Leverkusen Realschule am Stadtpark. During the workshop, the young people learnt about participation in political processes and how important it is to vote when they reach the legal age.

Carro presents 2025 Sports Youth Volunteer award at Schloss Morsbroich
For the first time this year, the city of Leverkusen has awarded the Sports Youth Volunteer prize, which is aimed at particularly committed young volunteers in sport. The award ceremony took place on Tuesday evening as part of the city’s sports awards ceremony at Schloss Morsbroich. Bayer 04 donated the prize money of €500, with CEO Fernando Carro presenting the symbolic cheque to this year's winner Gianna Ingber and also inviting her to a Werkself home game at the BayArena.

Happy 75th birthday, Wolfgang Holzhäuser

The German double winners’ special-edition jersey to mark the club’s 120th anniversary is reminiscent of the first kit worn by players back in the 1907/08 season. Against violence against women: Tah, Hradecky, Hofmann, Ostermeier and Voll speak out
On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls, Bayer 04 again joins in with the Orange Your City campaign. On Monday, 25 November, the BayArena will be lit up in orange between 17.00 and 22.00 CET. It is traditional on this day to have other significant buildings in Leverkusen lit up in orange.

Fanzone official launch – 'First impression: Simply wow!'
The brand-new Bayer 04 Fanzone in the South Stand at the BayArena has opened for all Werkself fans. The official launch of the 700 square metre plus state-of-the-art interactive shopping and world of experience on Wednesday afternoon followed an exclusive event the night before. The symbolic starting shot was made by special honoured guests before several hundred fans were able to gain their first impressions of the numerous products and interactive facilities – and the response has been very positive.

Bayer 04 Football School: Mukiele and Lomb bombarded with questions at kids press conference
Werkself players Nordi Mukiele and Niklas Lomb attended the Bayer 04 Football School on Tuesday afternoon. In the first week of the autumn half-term, the new signing and the long-serving goalkeeper answered numerous questions from over 100 young footballers at the kids press conference. After the round of questions, there was of course a group photo as well as an autograph session, where the duo didn't leave a single kit or boot unsigned.
