Chicharito joins West Ham United

The Mexico striker Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernández is leaving Bayer 04 to join the English top-flight club West Ham United. The 29-year-old striker, who had a year left on his contract at Bayer 04, has signed for the London Premier League club pending a successful medical.

Bayer 04 and West Ham have agreed terms for the transfer of Mexico’s record goalscorer. Chicharito scored 39 goals in 76 games in his two seasons at Leverkusen.
