From La Masia to the Bayer Cross: Iker Bravo joined Leverkusen in the summer of 2021 from Barcelona’s world-famous academy. The Spain youth international will primarily be on the hunt for goals with the U19s in the U19 Bundesliga West this season and he will also train with the senior squad from time to time. “He is a really big talent,” declared Bayer 04 sporting director Simon Rolfes at the contract signing. The six-foot striker made his debut for the first team on 27 October 2021 in the 2-1 defeat against Karlsruher SC in the second round of the DFB Cup – Bravo is the youngest-ever player for Leverkusen at the age of 16 years, 9 months and 15 days.
The Spain U19 international Iker Bravo is joining Champions League winners and Super Cup winners Real Madrid from Bayer 04 Leverkusen with immediate effect. The Bundesliga club have agreed a 12-month loan with the Madrid club.
