Simon Lackmann – first team analyst

Simon Lackmann, born in Münster and grown up near Kiel, studied sports science at the Sports University in Cologne. He started in the scouting department at Bayer 04 as a video analyst in 2009. He currently supports the analysis assistant coach Marcel Daum with analysis of opponents as well as analysis of Werkself matches and training.

Lackmann has already worked with a large number of Bayer 04 head coaches - Jupp Heynckes, Roger Schmidt, Peter Bosz as well as Xabi Alonso.
