FAQ black market
Bayer 04 takes the combating of black market tickets very seriously and emphasises that tickets may only be purchased via the Bayer 04 webshop or via the Bayer 04 ticket exchange (official secondary market). General ticket terms and conditions apply.
Spectators who purchase their tickets through other platforms will be denied entry to the BayArena. Persons who sell their tickets via an unauthorised platform may lose their right to pre-purchase tickets and be excluded from membership. If a ticket has been sold from a season ticket, the season ticket may be withdrawn without replacement.

SELLING TICKETS ON THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
I bought tickets on viagogo, eBay or similar. Are these valid?
As a rule, the unauthorised resale of a ticket renders the ticket invalid.
Why shouldn't I buy tickets from viagogo, eBay or similar?
Only tickets purchased via the Bayer 04 webshop or the official secondary market (Bayer 04 ticket exchange) are guaranteed to be valid. On the platforms mentioned in the question, tickets are sometimes offered that are not valid, do not exist at all or are sold multiple times.
PASSING ON TICKETS TO FRIENDS/ACQUAINTANCES
Can I sell tickets to friends/acquaintances?
A private transfer of a ticket for non-commercial reasons, in particular in individual cases of illness or other circumstances preventing the fan, is permitted (general ticket terms and conditions, 9.3).
What do I need to bear in mind if I pass on my tickets to friends/acquaintances?
Ensure you only give tickets to Bayer 04 fans in order to maximise the home advantage. You must also inform them about our general ticket terms and conditions.
SELLING TICKETS TO THIRD PARTIES
Why shouldn't I sell tickets to other people?
Among other things, there is a risk that away fans will get the tickets. As a consequence, it's not possible to clearly segregate fans. It also prevents tickets from being passed on to unauthorised persons, in particular to avoid ticket speculation (e.g. ticket purchases with the aim of direct resale or the resale of tickets at higher prices). Furthermore, the broadest possible supply of tickets to fans at socially acceptable prices can be maintained.
BAYER 04 TICKET EXCHANGE CLOSED
The Bayer 04 ticket exchange is not available for a match (e.g. away matches or Women's Bundesliga matches). Can I sell my ticket elsewhere?
An authorised transfer to friends or acquaintances, in accordance with the general ticket terms and conditions, is allowed.
BAYER 04'S APPROACH
What action does Bayer 04 take against the sale of tickets on unauthorised platforms?
This may result in warnings/contractual penalties, ticket bans and withdrawal of the right to purchase.

Can I report ticket sales from unauthorised platforms to Bayer 04?
If you spot any cases, please forward them by email to info@bayer04.de with the subject ‘Black market ticket notice’. The informer will not face any legal consequences, but you are helping Bayer 04 to take action against the sale of tickets on the black market.
