Traffic flow around the BayArena on matchdays has changed to protect the residents in the immediate proximity to the stadium. A comprehensive traffic management plan, which Bayer 04 have developed in association with representatives of the City of Leverkusen, the police and other experts, has been implemented and is constantly updated. Bayer 04 asks all visitors travelling by car to use the free car park at the Kurtekotten shuttle bus terminus.
Bayer 04 offers fans free parking at the Kurtekotten - at the "Chempark" S-Bahn station - from two hours before the start of the match. The car parks can be reached via Otto-Bayer Straße (Cologne).
From two hours before kick-off, shuttle buses will start travelling from Kurtekotten to the BayArena, ending at the street "Am Stadtpark". From there, it is a short walk to the stadium.
After the match, the buses will be available at the same location until two hours after the final whistle for the transfer back to the car parks.
VIP ticket holders have the opportunity to park in parking lots P2-P11 in the immediate vicinity of the stadium. Use of the reserved parking spaces is only possible with a corresponding parking permit.
Please note: From the 2024/5 season, Bayer 04 tickets will no longer automatically be valid as tickets; in future, they must be downloaded free of charge for every home game.
Leverkusen Mitte station is approx. 20 minutes' walk from the BayArena and can be reached via the regional express lines RE 1 (RRX) and RE 5 (RRX) as well as the S-Bahn line 6. For a barrier-free journey on the S-Bahn 6 from Cologne/Düsseldorf, we currently recommend traveling to Chempark station. From there, there are shuttle buses to the BayArena, which are wheelchair-accessible and barrier-free.

The regional express line RE 7 and the regional train line RB 48 stop at Opladen station.It is about a 50-minute walk from Opladen station to the BayArena, but there are also shuttle buses to the BayArena from the adjacent Opladen bus station, which are wheelchair-accessible and barrier-free.

Leverkusen Manfort station can be reached via the regional train line RB 48. Similar to Leverkusen Mitte station, Manfort station is about a 20-minute walk from the BayArena.

From the parking facilities at Kurtekotten, shuttle buses will leave for the BayArena from two hours before kick-off, terminating in the street “Am Stadtpark”. From there, it is just a few meters on foot to the stadium.
There will also be shuttle buses from the districts of Opladen, Lützenkirchen, Bergisch Gladbach, Mathildenhof, Rheindorf, Monheim and Hilgen to the BayArena. The buses will travel to the stadium before the start of the match.

Reserved parking spaces P2-P7 are available for coaches. Use of the parking spaces is only possible with a corresponding parking permit.
Away fans planning to travel by coach or minibus should contact the visiting club's own fan support team in good time.
As a city stadium, the BayArena is very easy for fans to reach by bike. Sufficient free parking spaces for bicycles are available at the end of the stadium in the immediate vicinity of the northwest entrance.
There are also several wupsiRad stations around the BayArena.
Media representatives can also apply for a parking permit when applying for accreditation. Parking lots P4 to P7 in front of the BayArena (West) are available for media representatives. The parking lot will be allocated by the club depending on capacity. The parking ticket will be sent by e-mail a few days before the respective match exclusively as a wallet pass file.
Opposite the BayArena next to the McDonald's restaurant is the parking lot for people with severe disabilities. Access to this parking lot is only possible for people with a blue EU parking permit.
We ask all other fans with disabilities who do not have the blue badge to use the free shuttle bus parking spaces at Kurtekotten.
Even on non-match days, visitors can reach the BayArena via different routes. Especially the journey by car is more relaxed on non-match days. Bayer04.de provides an overview below.

If you are traveling by train, we recommend the two train stations Leverkusen Mitte or Leverkusen-Manfort, which are both about a 20-minute walk from the BayArena.
Bus travelers should head for the BayArena bus stop, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the stadium and is served by lines 203, 207 and 222. Alternatively, visitors can travel via the Leverkusen Mitte bus station.

The office building at Gustav-Heinemann-Straße 1 is home to the headquarters of Bayer 04 Fußball GmbH. The operating divisions have been united under one roof in the modern building complex since 2013.
In 2000, Bayer 04 opened its performance centre at Kurtekotten presented by Barmenia in the immediate vicinity of the Bayer plant. Since then, three grass pitches and an artificial turf pitch with additional training areas including a modern functional area have formed the heart of this facility. Kurtekotten is home to the U8 to U15 age groups and the Bundesliga women's team.
The performance centre at Kurtekotten, presented by Barmenia, can be reached by S-Bahn line 6. The Leverkusen Chempark station is in the immediate vicinity of the facility. In addition, lines 151, 152, 201, 217, 218, 251, 255 and SB23 stop at the Leverkusen Chempark S bus station.
