"With her attacking approach and irresistible dynamism Janou provides valuable input into our game. Through that she has quickly developed into a key player," said Achim Feifel, Bayer 04 Women's team sporting director: "We are very happy she has agreed a long-term deal and will continue with us on our successful path."

Levels signed for Leverkusen last summer after five years at PSV Eindhoven. The twice capped Dutch international played 19 games and scored three goals for the Black and Reds in 2023/24 despite being sidelined for weeks with a hip problem.

"Last season was great fun for me. At the same time, I feel there is a lot more potential in this team," said Levels: "I'd like to carry on developing along with the team and score and provide more goals.
