Three friendlies in the first part of the pre-season and a two-week break are followed by an eight-day training camp for the Leverkusen Women's team in Katowice in Poland. That will then be followed by another three friendlies against European opponents. The 2024/25 Bundesliga season begins at the end of August. The Werkself Women will then be involved in the second round of the DFB Pokal a week later.

Following the session, Amine Adli was very positive in a media interview about the remaining four matches including the forthcoming home game against FC Augsburg (Saturday, 26 April, 15:30 CEST): "We will give our all to end the season as well as we can!"
