#B04eSports: Draw against Eintracht Braunschweig

The Bayer 04 eSports players picked up one point in the duel with Eintracht Braunschweig on Tuesday 31 January. The Leverkusen team are now thirteenth in the North West division of the VBL Club Championship after 20 games.

The fixture against Eintracht Braunschweig started as usual for the #B04eSports players with a 2 vs 2 game. Marc ‘MARC_LDW23’ Landwehr and Furkan ‘FURKY’ Kayacik were on the controllers and up against the Braunschweig duo of Kai ‘HENSOO’ Hense and Philipp ‘EISVOGEL’ Schermer. The match ended with a 2-1 defeat from a Black and Red perspective.

The following 1 vs 1 game between Landwehr and Braunschweig’s Hense ended all square (2-2), so it came down to the third duel. In this 1 vs 1, Kayacik faced Schermer - and the Bayer 04 eSports player secured a 2-1 win. That made the overall result a draw.

The Bayer 04 eSports team are now thirteenth in the North West division of the VBL Club Championship on 21 points.

triple matchday awaits

The #B04eSports team return to action in the VBL Club Championship next week: Tuesday, 7 February, is a triple matchday with games against VfL Wolfsburg (from 18.00 CET), SC Paderborn 07 (from 19.30 CET) and FC Köln (from 21.00 CET).
