Vote for your Player of the Season in 2022/23

Since the final matchday in Bochum it is certain that Bayer 04 end the 2022/23 campaign sixth in the Bundesliga and will be back in European competition next season. After a turbulent year with highs and lows including a positive conclusion, you now have the chance to vote for your Player of the Season.

Before looking forward to the new campaign, you can get involved once again. Which Werkself player especially stood out last term? Will Florian Wirtz be top after his great comeback this year? Have Moussa Diaby and Jeremie Frimpong dribbled their way into your hearts? Or will a defender come out on top? It's your choice!

You can vote up to 18 June and secure the chance to win some great prizes. The following prizes will be drawn from all members taking part.

The international break is followed by the run-in to the end of the year: The Werkself entertain FC Heidenheim at the BayArena tomorrow, Saturday 23 November (kick-off: 15.30 CET/live on Sky and on Werkself Radio), on Bundesliga Matchday 11. The fixture against FC Heidenheim is the first of eight games before Christmas. Head coach Xabi Alonso, speaking at the pre-match press conference, talked about the opponents and provided updates on the Werkself squad including on Victor Boniface.

'A special incentive': Women ahead of DFB Pokal Round of 16 tie

Just twelve days after the head-to-head in the league, the Bayer 04 Women again entertain Turbine Potsdam at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium. In contrast to the 3-0 win on Bundesliga Matchday 9, this time it is not about picking up three points. On Friday, 22 November (kick-off: 18.00 CET) it is all about going through to the quarter-finals in the DFB Pokal. Werkself TV will broadcast the match live and exclusively via a free stream.
