Weiser leaves Bayer 04 to join Werder Bremen

Mitchell Weiser is leaving Bayer 04 Leverkusen to join Bundesliga newcomers Werder Bremen with immediate effect.

The full-back played for the North German club on loan in the second division last season. The parties involved have now reached agreement on a permanent move to Bremen for the 28-year-old.

Bayer 04 enters partnership with Plastiks against waste pollution

Bayer 04 and the Plastiks company are working together. The sustainable organisation is committed worldwide to the reuse of waste and acting against waste pollution. As part of this cooperation, Bayer 04 is working with the green mining organisation in São Paulo, the most populous city in South America and hometown to club legend Paulo Sergio, where the waste recycling rate is currently only around 3%.
