Jedvaj, with eleven full international caps to date, is one four Bundesliga players with Croatia at the World Cup in Russia alongside Andrej Kramaric (1899 Hoffenheim), Ante Rebic (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Marko Pjaca (Schalke 04; on loan).
Croatia are in Group D at the World Cup along with Argentina, newcomers Iceland and Nigeria. Croatia play World Cup participants Senegal in a friendly on 8 June.
