Thorsten Kirschbaum sidelined for two weeks

Bayer 04 keeper Thorsten Kirschbaum is out of action for two weeks due to a thigh injury.

The 31-year-old keeper suffered a torn thigh muscle in training on Wednesday 22 August. Kirschbaum is ruled out for the first two Bundesliga matches. The former Nürnberg player joined Leverkusen from the Bundesliga newcomers in the summer.
