Tapsoba has not had any contact with the Bayer 04 first team squad or coaching and support staff. The coronavirus test was not conducted at the BayArena but instead at a laboratory in Leverkusen on his return to Germany. The 21-year-old was immediately asked to self-isolate at home by Bayer 04. Additional testing of Tapsoba carried out on Thursday and Friday has confirmed the diagnosis. The Werkself kicked off the final international break of the current season on Monday morning with the first of three open training sessions this week.
