Levin Öztunali joins Mainz
Levin Öztunali is leaving Bayer 04 Leverkusen to join FSV Mainz 05 with immediate effect.
The two clubs have agreed the transfer of the 20-year-old midfielder who spent last season on loan at Bundesliga club Werder Bremen. The 2014 U19 European champion was under contract at the Werkself to 30 June 2018. Öztunali has signed a five-year deal at Mainz.

What a comeback! Bayer 04 recovered from an early two-goal deficit at home to 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 and eventually clinched a deserved 5-2 win. Patrik Schick scored a hat-trick with Exequiel Palacios and Granit Xhaka also on the scoresheet.
