Jonathan Tah and Robert Andrich have been called up to the Germany squad by coach Julian Nagelsmann. Germany play Italy in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Nations League over two legs on 20 and 23 March (see below for match details).
Germany finished top of Group 3 in League A in the group phase last year. Tah and Co. played Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Netherlands with Werkself player Jeremie Frimpong. Germany secured a slot in the quarter-finals with two games to play by beating the Oranje 1-0 on matchday four. The group phase ended with Germany unbeaten on 14 points (four wins, two draws). Germany also had the best attack (18 goals) as well as the equal best defence (four goals conceded, like Spain) in League A. Italy in Group 2 in League A played France, Belgium and Israel and ended second in the group with 13 points (four wins, one draw and one defeat).
This international break also sees the start of European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Lukas Hradecky and Finland are in Group G along with Lithuania, Malta and Poland. Finland play Malta and Lithuania in the first two qualifiers in this round of international fixtures.
Call-ups from other national associations remain to be confirmed and will be added here when announced.
