Large areas of the wooden seating were destroyed meaning that most of the covered seated area for the friendly against Bayer 04 is not now available. Bayer 04 are working on arranging an alternative fixture. Ticket holders who have bought tickets from Bayer 04 will receive an email or letter during the week and all monies will be refunded.

The fire brigade in Langenfeld called out at 02.45 on Friday. The firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly with the call-out ending at four in the morning. The police believe it a case of vandalism and arson and are currently seeking person or persons unknown.
