Xabi Alonso's team played at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium last year on 7 January when they secured a 2-1 win against Venezia, where the former Leverkusen player Joel Pohjanpalo is now wearing the captain's armband. The team with the Finland international striker are currently second in Serie B.
Tickets for the game will initially be exclusively available in the lower tier at the BayArena. Season card holders will receive an invitation from Bayer 04 with a voucher code where they can secure the exact number of season cards on Tuesday 19 December (16.00 CET). That there is no guarantee of the usual season card seats. Tickets will then go on open sale on 21 December from 16.00 CET. Members can purchase tickets for €5 and non-members have the opportunity to watch the Bundesliga league leaders for €10.
Bayer 04 have organised a range of events at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium for the home game against Werder Bremen Sunday, 16 March. Part of the family matchday is an autograph session with two of the currently injured players Katharina Piljic and Vanessa Haim.
