"At the moment, he is one of the best players in the Bundesliga in his position as an attacking right-back. The contract extension underlines Jeremie's importance to our Werkself.”
Bayer 04 signed the 22-year-old Frimpong from the Scottish top-flight club Celtic two and a half years ago. "A lot has happened since then, we've experienced great things and continually improved as a team," said Frimpong. "It's great fun to be part of this team.”
Fernando Carro, Bayer 04 CEO, was a guest speaker at the Financial Times Business of Football Summit in London on Thursday, 27 February.
