4-0 against Zwolle: Women win big in friendly during international break
Without a large number of regular starters, the Bayer 04 Women used the international break for a successful friendly. The team led by head coach Roberto Pätzold beat top-flight Dutch club PEC Zwolle 4-0 in Siebengewald. In the absence of eleven players on international duty plus a number of injuries, the Werkself goals were scored by Loreen Bender (12’, 18’), Lilla Turanyi (45’) and Caroline Kehrer (50’).
