Bayer 04 now on WhatsApp

Hello, WhatsApp! Bayer 04 has this week launched their own channel on WhatsApp and thereby created a further opportunity for direct contact with fans. As one of the first professional clubs in Germany, the Europa League competitors will use the popular messenger service for sharing information and entertaining content on the Black and Red world in German.

The first message on the new channel was a special one: Bayer 04 announced the contract extension to 2028 for Argentinian World Cup winner Exequiel Palacios on Tuesday afternoon. The number of followers grew quickly.

In future, high quality content plus exclusive photo and film material from behind the stage at the Werkself will be published on WhatsApp. The new channel offers the potential of being one of the most important communication platforms given the high number of users on WhatsApp.
