Bayer 04 introduce season card waiting list for 2024/25 season
Due to the high demand for tickets, Bayer 04 now introduce a season card waiting list for the first time for the 2024/25 season. This is exclusively open to Bayer 04 Club members.
The home areas at the BayArena were sold out for all 17 games in the Bundesliga last term. For the first time in the club's history, sales of season cards were stopped in the winter having reached a total of 21,400.
To be able to offer a balance of match tickets and season cards in future there will be no open sale of season cards for the coming season. Spaces becoming available as of today will be allocated by the newly introduced waiting list.
Information on the season card waiting list:
- The waiting list will be open from Tuesday, 25 June 2024 at 10.00 CEST through to Friday, 12 July 2024. Registration will be exclusively via the Bayer 04 ticket shop.
- At the end of the registration period, a list will be drawn up at random from the registrations submitted to give participating members the same chances. This list will then be used as the basis for future allocation of season cards.
- A current Bayer 04 Club membership is required for the waiting list. Current season card holders cannot acquire additional season card via the waiting list.
- Registration for one standing season card is possible and up to two seated season cards can be requested for each Bayer 04 Club member. It is also possible to register without preference for standing or sitting.
- Bayer 04 will contact Club members in the event of allocation of the season card at a set point and offer appropriate places according to availability.
- If you have no interest in the place offered then your registration for the season card waiting list will lapse.

Bayer 04 provide long-term support for the Bola Pra Frente project in Rio de Janeiro – Jorginho named official club legend
The Bayer 04 delegation, led by Fernando Carro, CEO, concluded their multi-day trip to Brazil with a visit to the community-based organisation Bola Pra Frente in Rio de Janeiro – founded by former Werkself player Jorginho. During the visit, Bayer 04 committed to extending support for the Bola Pra Frente project for a further five years. In addition, Jorginho, a member of the Brazil 1994 World Cup-winning squad, was named Bayer 04’s second official club legend. With the visit to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, the club has strengthened the relationships built up over the years in one of Bayer 04’s most important international markets.

Former player Kristina Sundov is new Bayer 04 Women’s team assistant coach
Ten years after retiring as a player, Kristina Sundov is returning to the Bayer 04 Women’s team as assistant coach. The 39-year-old former Croatia international takes over from Remzi Kahraman, who has taken up a new challenge abroad. She has been given a contract to 30 June 2028.

One ticket, two matches – and a varied programme of events, including appearances by players from the professional teams: Bayer 04 has come up with something very special for the 2026 season launch on Saturday, 8 August. From morning right through to the evening, Werkself fans can use just one ticket to not only enjoy top-class football from the Bayer 04 teams live, but also to experience unforgettable moments with the whole family through a variety of hands-on activities around the BayArena and the Ulrich Haberland Stadium. The day will also end on a real high note: after both matches, Bayer 04 supporters will have the opportunity to interact directly with the players during joint activities and get to know them from a different angle.
