With tropical temperatures around 30 degrees, Charles Aránguiz and Co. this afternoon lined up for the team photo ahead of the start of the 2020/21 Bundesliga season. As usual, the Werkself were photographed with the North Stand at their backs. That was followed by individual photos inside the stadium before the players split up to go to different areas around the changing rooms and in the VIP boxes at the BayArena.
While head coach Peter Bosz gave interviews in the press conference room, Lukas Hradecky had a go at a mini goal wall on the pitch for the DFL cameras. New signing Patrik Schick and some of his teammates provided entertaining social media content that will be made available to fans on the Bayer 04 platforms.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 in the USA, Canada and Mexico is underway. A total of eight Leverkusen players are taking part in the 23rd World Cup, with 48 teams in the tournament for the first time. Bayer04.de brings you all the latest from Werkself players at the World Cup.
